HOW IT ALL BEGAN.
It all started with a dog named Spartacus.
SPARTACUS. THE DOG THAT STARTED IT ALL.
I brought Spartacus home when I was 18 years old. I thought I knew what I was doing. I thought owning a dog was easy - my family's dog was a breeze. Spartacus was not easy and I could not have been more wrong. Spartacus started showing problem behaviours that I didn't know how to fix, and I was getting frustrated.
Until I realised I was the problem.
Once I realised this, I started to change my attitude and began learning about how to communicate with my dog, and how to make my dog's life the best it can be. So I built a better relationship with him. Now that I understand him, he understands me.
All because of Spartacus, I decided to study Certificate III in Dog Training and Behaviour to learn as much as I could, and I found a passion in teaching and helping others with their own dogs.
Spartacus turns 9 this year. He's still learning new things every day, and we have never been better together.
